Dear Debbie:
I submitted some photographs for possible use at a web stock agency and
they sent me an email saying, "Please don't upsample your images. This
severely degrades the quality. This image contains undue artifacts when
viewed at full size."
I shoot digitally and use Photoshop to resize my photographs. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong!
Can you help?
Thanks,
A Sizable Problem

Dear Debbie,
I'm scanning slides. Can you please explain why, when I view them in the Adobe Bridge, they do not stay in the order that I scanned them? Likewise, when I go to make contact sheets, it does the same thing. I want the contact sheets to match up with the slide pages without having to rearrange the slides. Can you help?
Signed,
Out of Order

Dear Debbie,
I use Photoshop CS2. I have to correct contrast, brightness, and color
on about twenty photographs that have similar problems. To fix them one
after another is a slow process. Can this be done in some fast process
that might correct all the photos simultaneously? Please advise.
Sincerely,
In the Slow Lane

Dear Debbie,
I read somewhere that removing or repairing fringing on high-contrast photos is a snap in Photoshop, but I don't remember if I ever saw the solution spelled out. Any suggestions? I use Photoshop CS (8.0).
Sincerely,
A Fringe Element

Dear Debbie,
When I scan clipart, say black line art as a TIFF or even a JPEG, how can I get it to place on top of a photo without a background? All my cliparts have a white background that covers up the photo!
Thanks in advance,
